Step 1: Select the language to use. Currently, the App has two languages, English and Vietnamese.

Step 2: Enter your registered phone number and the Referral Code (if any), and click "Continue".

How to create a new USDT wallet

To create a new Ethereum wallet on Coin98 Wallet, you do the following:

Step 1: Access to the E-Wallet Section of the Wallet Tab - the 3rd functional tab from the left to the bar at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2: Select "Create new wallet".

Step 3: Choose Ethereum to create an Ethereum wallet, or MultiChain to create a multi-chain wallet.

Step 4: Enter the wallet name, and select "Initialize".

Step 5: Save your Passphrase, and Private Key carefully. Tick to ​​confirm that you have saved the Passphrase, and Private Key and then select "Done".

Note:

  • You must save the Passphrase and Private Key to be able to recover the newly created wallet. Otherwise, you could lose the money in your wallet forever.
  • The Coin98 App account is independent of the wallet. If you exit this Coin98 App account and log back in, you must have a Passphrase and Private Key to be able to recover this newly created wallet.
  • MultiChain wallet is a multi-chain wallet. Understandably, this is a parent wallet with a common key, including many small wallets for each blockchain. Using MultiChain wallet, you need to be careful, because losing keys will lose many types of assets in it.

How to recover an existing USDT wallet

If you already have an Ethereum wallet, and want to use it immediately on Coin98 Wallet, you can restore that wallet with the following operation:

Step 1: Access to the E-Wallet Section of the Wallet Tab - the 3rd functional tab from the left to the bar at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2: Select "Restore wallet".

Step 3: Choose Ethereum or MultiChain depending on your wallet type.

  • If the wallet you want to recover has been connected to Coin98 Wallet, all you need to do is select it from the "Select connected wallet" list, and click "Restore".
  • If the wallet has never been connected to Coin98 Wallet, you enter the Passphrase or Private Key of the wallet. Moreover, you can add more labels to the wallet for easy management.

Step 5: Click "Connect" to connect the wallet to Coin98 Wallet.

Step 3: Click on the area in the gray frame of the wallet to copy the wallet address. Or click on the Bitcoin / Ethereum / Tron icon on the left to get a QR code as well as copy the wallet address.

Step 4: Transfer USDT to the address you just copied.
