How to use WeStarter (A-Z Guide)

In this article, I will guide you step-by-step through the process of participating in crowdfunding sales on WeStarter and how to farm in the simplest and most detailed way.

How to start using WeStarter

Download and install Coin98 Mobile Wallet

Mobile Wallet

WeStarter is now available on the Coin98 Mobile Wallet for both iOS and Android users.

Extension Wallet

Coin98 Extension Wallet now supports both Chrome and Firefox. If you are a new user, you can directly install Extension Wallet on your computer following the instructions.

Create Multi-chain Wallet

Currently, WeStarter is supporting three chains: HECO, BSC, and Polygon so you need a wallet compatible with these ecosystems to skin-in-the-game.

Coin98 Wallet is built on multi-chain engine technology, connecting users to many different blockchains conveniently and easily.

Users can still use single-chain wallets such as BSC, Polygon, HECO wallets, but I recommend using Multi-chain wallets for easy interaction and management.

After installing Coin98 Wallet, you can refer to the guidelines below to create a Multichain wallet, or restore Multichain wallets from other platforms to Coin98 Wallet.

If you are already a Coin98 Wallet user, you should import multi-chain wallets again to get updated with wallets on Binance Smart Chain (BNB BEP20), as well as other integrated blockchains on the latest version automatically.

Prepare HT, BNB, MATIC for gas fees

WeStarter uses HT as gas fees on HECO, BNB on Binance Smart Chain, and MATIC on Polygon. Depending on the network you want to join, you must have these coins as fees to use WeStarter.

You can buy HT, BNB, MATIC on centralized exchanges like Houbi, FTX, Binance, Gate.io ... to transfer to your wallet and execute the transactions.

Note: You must transfer the coin to the correct wallet of the network that you intend to execute the transaction.

How to use WeStarter on Desktop interface

Connect the wallet

Step 1: Access WeStarter at: https://westarter.org

Step 2: On the home screen, click Connect Wallet.

Step 3: Choose Coin98 Wallet and the corresponding network. Click Connect.

To switch the network please follow those steps below:

Step 1: Click on the Web3 Priority.

Step 2: Change the network

Participate in WeStarter Pools

Step 1: On the main screen, scroll down, check if there is a pool that is currently or will start to subscribe.

Step 2: There are two types of pool

• Public fundraising pool (Public) means any user can participate, which is allocated according to the amount of staking funds.
• Private fundraising pool (Private) means conditional participation, generally, whitelisted qualified users can participate. After the subscription starts, the amount is determined according to the order of the subscription.

Switch to the relative network (if any). Click “Enter pool” to enter the fundraising pool page.

Step 3: Click Join Pool to enter the subscription pool.

Confirm whether the subscription pool is in progress, if it is, please enter and confirm the amount you want to invest/stake.

You can scroll down to see the fundraising record, claim section and the pool or project details.

 If the staking is successful, the record will be displayed in the fundraising record, and you can wait for settlement.

According to the popularity of the project, it usually takes 1–20 minutes after settlement to claim the settled investment target and the remaining investment amount.

Step 4: When the status of the fundraising pool is updated to “settled/closed”, the claim status will be activated, click Claim to receive the token.

Farm

Step 1: On the home screen, click Farms.

Step 2: Scroll down and check if there is a farming pool that is active. Like the WeStarter Pools, we have two kinds of pool:

• The private mode will only open for the addresses that successfully participated in the crowdfunding sale.
• The public mode is for everyone.

Each pool will have its own APR and reward (mostly in WAR)

Note: Before staking you have to prepare the suitable token by swapping on MDEX or get LP token when adding liquidity on MDEX.

Step 3: Switch to the relative network (if any). Click Stake to enter the pool page.  I take the WAR POOL as an example.

Step 4: Enter the amount of WAR you want to stake. Click Approve. 

Step 5: Click Confirm if you agree to pay the network fee.

Step 6: The system will display the exact real-time amount of WAR you’ve staked and the amount you’ll receive. If you want to unstake, click to the pool and select Unstake & Claim. 

To receive WAR staked, click Claim.

Submit the project to WeStarter

Click Application and fill in the form as required.

How to use WeStarter on dApp Browser

Connect the wallet

To access WeStarter, at the main home screen, click Browser on the home screen and select WeStarter in the DApp Store.

After accessing the homepage, choose Connect Wallet → Select Coin98 Wallet from the list.

Normally, your HECO wallet on Coin98 Wallet will be automatically connected to WeStarter. If you have more than 1 HRC20 wallet or would like to switch to other networks, you can easily select the desired wallet/ network by clicking on the wallet option at the bottom right corner of the screen.

Participate in WeStarter Pools

Step 1: On the main screen, scroll down, check if there is a pool that is currently or will start to subscribe.

Click Application and fill in the form as required.

Note: The default gas fee on Coin98 Wallet is set at the standard rate for the fastest speed at the most reasonable cost. You can adjust the gas fee according to your needs.
