What is Mines of Dalarnia?

Mines of Dalarnia is an action-adventure and play-to-earn game where players interact with the game to mine and craft various in-game items. Furthermore, players can explore the MoD universe by fighting enemies to level up their character’s skills.

The Mines of Dalarnia game is about combating, mining, and gathering resources. And the in-game NFT items are minted so that they can be exchanged and transferred in the marketplace.

How does Mines of Dalarnia work?

Mines of Dalarnia is now available on Chrome and Safari, meaning you can play directly on web-based platforms. Every asset in the game is created as NFT to create an economy inside the game itself.

Mines and Lands

Lands are sold to entrepreneurs so that they can run the lands and generate profit for themselves. There are 4 types of terrains (plots) at the main dashboard (sorted by different colors): Terrestrial - Purple, Lava - Red, Ice - Blue, Darkness - Green.

In each type of terrain, there are different minerals and monsters waiting for players to conquer.

The D number in the bottom right corner means the difficulty level. The higher the D number, the more difficult the mine, and players have to upgrade their level in the game to meet the requirements. 

Miners and landowners

Miners will battle against monsters and look for precious resources in the game. Each action contributes to the high score which decides the rewards after mining. However, mining is time-limited, players will be forced to abort activities if the time runs out. In addition, players can die if they lose all health points in the mining process since there are other strong monsters.

In the beginning, players can buy a Limited Edition Starter Pack, a Basic Starter Pack, or a Free 2 Play Pack. In each pack, there are necessary mining tools for miners to start. In short, this pack system is designed to boost the competitive feature of the game.

To become the landowner, players can participate in land sales carried out in batches. They sell lands to other players in the form of NFTs. And miners collect resources and pay a little amount of tax to the landowner. 

In-game minerals

Basic minerals such as iron ore, copper, and scrap are available everywhere in the MoD world. They are used to upgrade basic equipment. To upgrade more advanced equipment, players need rarer minerals such as crystallized plasma and prisminium that are available in rented plots or mines.

Mining tools and weapons

As mentioned above, players need to buy the starter pack (3 types of the pack) that contains the necessary mining tools. For different types of resources, players need to upgrade their tools and this process needs DAR tokens. The number of slots for tools is limited, players have to either drop or sell them in the marketplace.

Players can craft items depending on what they have collected in the mine. In the picture is the example of an item, Escape Teleport is used to exit the mine at any time and anywhere in the mine.

In-game marketplace

The MoD marketplace is available for every player to trade for tools and minerals. Every transaction on the marketplace will charge a little fee in DAR tokens.
